The 11th International Conference on Linguistics, Literature and Arts (ICLLA 2024), took place at the luxurious JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa in Phuket, Thailand, bringing together scholars, researchers, and professionals from around the globe. This esteemed event provided a unique platform for participants to explore the latest advancements, share pioneering research, and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
Opening and Welcome Remarks
The conference began with Prof. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham from
Silpakorn University, Thailand, delivering the opening remarks,
setting the tone for the three-day event. Assoc. Prof. Hiroko Kanoh
from Yamagata University, Japan, then provided the welcoming
remarks, warmly greeting attendees from around the world and
emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing
educational challenges.

Prof. Bruce Marlowe from the University of South Carolina Beaufort, USA, delivered a thought-provoking keynote on the topic "What’s Wrong with Our Schools?" He examined the pressing issues within the education system and proposed innovative solutions for improvement.
Prof. Hywel Evans from Otsuma Women’s University, Japan, explored "Linguistic Theory and Practical Activities," bridging the gap between theoretical linguistics and its practical applications in education.
Prof. Meihua Liu from Tsinghua University, China, presented her research on "Research on L2 Learning Emotions," delving into the emotional aspects of second language acquisition and its implications for learners and educators alike.

After invited session, there were 4 technical sessions and 1 online session. The topics were related to Educational Information Technology and Bibliometric Analysis Related to Education, Educational Research and Psychology, Linguistics and Literary Studies, Analysis and Interpretation of Fiction Works, Humanities and Social Sciences, Accepted and registered papers will be published into the upcoming issues of IJLLL and available at: http://www.ijlll.org/list-6-1.html, which will be indexed by Google Scholar, Crossref, CNKI.
Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
